comScore Data media planning and analysis tool now available

comScore/Media Metrix is a widely-cited media planning and analysis tool that tracks consumer interaction with web sites.  comScore offers in-depth online audience measurement and related analytics, delving into the various demographic categories, usage behaviors, and behavioral trends of website visitors and online consumers.

comScore data is relevant for advertisers, marketers, publishers, banks, credit card firms, online social media and pharmaceutical companies and approximately 100 advertising agencies.  comScore’s non-academic clients range from the BBC, Newspaper Association of America, ESPN and Fox Sports to Verizon, Nestle, the United States Postal Service, and France Telecom.

Syracuse University Library provides access to subsets of comScore raw data and reporting referred to as “Media Metrix Core Reports.”

Accessing comScore data at Bird Library

comScore Media Metrix may be used by currently affiliated SU students, faculty or staff. Access via a mediated login is available Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Bird Library 3rd Floor Service Desk. Exceptions to these hours may apply during holidays, academic break times, etc.
