The Libraries’ Architecture Reading Room is beginning a materials awareness program and will host a series of events focused on architectural materials. The first event, a vendor demonstration by Hendricks Architectural Products, will take place on Tuesday, April 1st at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. outside of the reading room on the 3rd floor of Slocum Hall.
Hendricks Architectural Products is a 140-year-old company that provides fully-integrated solutions for the perforating, screening, and fabricating of metal products. They have partnered with many architects, construction companies, and projects to produce essential metal fabricated products. Representatives John Brandt and Doug Abt will present material samples, discuss their products, and provide an overview of their metal manufacturing process.
Hendricks also offers CES credits to graduates and working professionals; representatives will give a more formal presentation about this program at 11 a.m. in room 402.
