Think you know Bird like the back of your hand? Enter the Bird Library’s Learning Commons (LC) scavenger hunt for a chance to win your own reserved table in the library (up to 20 hours during the final two weeks of the semester).
In addition to answering fun questions, contestants can earn bonus points by creating related posts on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook (see contest sheet for details). Whoever earns the most points wins!
Printed scavenger hunt forms are available at the Reference and Research Help Desk (Bird Library, 1st floor), or you can download them from the LC’s blog. Submit your completed forms to any staff member at the Reference and Research Help Desk, or put it in the submission box near that desk between now and 8 p.m. on November 15.
The scavenger hunt runs from November 4 through November 15 and is open to currently-enrolled Syracuse University students. Faculty and staff of Syracuse University are not eligible to participate. No purchase necessary to enter, play, or win a prize. Prizes may not be transferred or assigned except by the contest sponsor. No substitutions are allowed.
Winners will be notified by November 22. One grand prize winner will have use of a reserved library table in the Learning Commons for up to 20 hours during the final two weeks of the semester (December 2 through December 13). The second place winner will have use of a reserved library table in the Learning Commons for up to six hours during those same weeks. A handful of runners-up will receive some free library swag, including USB flash drives and stress balls.
