New Resource: NBC Learn Higher Ed

A new resource, NBC Learn Higher Ed, is now available to the Syracuse University community. NBC Learn Higher Ed provides access to digitized video from NBC archives, including stories from NBC Nightly News, the TODAY Show, Meet the Press, Dateline NBC, as well as content from MSNBC, CNBC, and Telemundo networks, and partner organizations, such as the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. The resource also includes digitized photos and other archival materials and historic content.

News stories are aligned with numerous subject areas. “Cue cards” are included with stories, offering information about the item such as source, creator, and date, and for many items, a transcript. NBC Learn includes video of past events, and has the potential to be useful to SU students and researchers studying a wide range of subject areas, especially students looking for primary source materials.
