Reading Grove

In collaboration with Syracuse University Library’s spring exhibition Strange Victories: Grove Press, 1951-1985, the Special Collections Research Center will host a community reading where students, faculty, and community members will select and read excerpts from the roster of radical, canonical, international, and sometimes obscure authors published by Grove Press.

The event will take place on April 18 at 6:00 p.m. at XL Projects in Syracuse and is free and open to the public.

This event is part of the 2012-2013 Ray Smith Symposium “Positions of Dissent,” co-sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences, Humanities Center, School of Architecture, LGBT Studies, and the departments of English, History, African American Studies, and Art, Design and Transmedia.
