Youth Literature books related to disability and disability culture on display

Youth literature books related to disability are featured in the new books area on the 1st floor of Bird Library, in conjunction with Project Enable and the Center for Digital Literacy at the iSchool. Braille and tactile formats are included, as well as titles for children and young adults.

Also in the new books area, the Disability Student Union, the Disability Cultural Center, and the Library are sponsoring a display of books on disability studies and culture for Disability Awareness Month.

The books will be on exhibit from October 15 to November 14.   For additional information, please contact subject librarians Tasha Cooper; Adina Mulliken; or Mary DeCarlo.
