Syracuse University Libraries has been notified of a phishing email that is circulating to some individuals with an @syr.edu email address asking users to update their NetID library account or risk losing access to online services. This “Library Notice” email is part of a credential harvester scam and should be ignored and deleted immediately. Do NOT renew or click on any links in this email. If you mistakenly click on the link and type in your NetID and NetID password, please immediately go to MySlice and change your NetID password.
