Selections from the Pan Am Flight 103/Lockerbie Air Disaster Archives showcasing the range of research possibilities within the Archives’ collections will be available for viewing in the Hillyer Room (606).
This pop-up exhibition will include selections highlighting the Archives’ holdings related to the Dec. 21, 1988 terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, its aftermath, and the lives and legacies of the victims. Selections include contemporary media coverage of the disaster; records of the investigation, trial, and victims’ services; materials related to Syracuse University memorials; and examples of the types of personal belongings that have been donated by the victims’ families. The pop-up exhibition is open to the public.
